Swap Characters in Any Video
Upload a 3–10 second clip and a photo of any character. FunGen replaces the person in your video and keeps the background, camera move and motion.
The original video is low resolution, so details may still look unclear after the swap.
The character image is small, so the face may not look sharp after the swap.

Questions about swapping characters in video
How does the character swap work?
You upload the video and one image of the new character. The model rebuilds the clip with that character in place of the original person, following the same body motion, camera movement and lighting. The background stays the same.
How long can my video be?
Between 3 and 10 seconds, in MP4 or MOV, up to 100 MB. For longer scenes, cut them into short shots and swap each one.
What makes a good character image?
A clear, well-lit photo where the face and outfit are visible, ideally full body or waist up. The swap copies the face, hair and clothing it can see.
How many credits does it cost?
35 credits per second of output at 720p and 60 at 1080p, so a 5-second 720p swap is 175 credits. You see the exact amount before you generate.
Will it keep the original audio?
The output is a new video track. Add the original sound or new music back in the FunGen editor.
Can I swap in a cartoon or game character?
Yes. Any character image works, from photos to illustrations and 3D renders. The result follows the style of the reference.
