AI Dubbing
Dub any video into 32 languages
Upload a video with speech, pick a language, and FunGen dubs it with AI. It tries to keep the speaker's voice, and you can add lip sync so the mouth matches the new words.
Replaces the speech, keeps the picture. Up to 5 minutes.
One English clip, dubbed into Spanish
The original is the AI-generated example from our Lip Sync page (one photo plus a typed line); the person isn't real. Both Spanish versions were the first attempt, made on 1 November 2026. Display copies were resized and re-encoded for the web. Turn the sound on to compare. Results vary with the video, the speaker and the language.

Questions about AI dubbing
What is AI dubbing?
AI dubbing translates the speech in a video and replaces it with a new voice track in another language. FunGen transcribes what is said, translates it, and generates the new speech. It tries to keep the original speaker's voice and the background sound, but results can vary.
What is the difference between Voice only and Voice + lip sync?
Voice only replaces the speech and leaves the picture as it is. It is faster (17–29 seconds in two tests with 7–8 second clips) and cheaper: 3 credits per second, up to 5 minutes. Voice + lip sync also changes the mouth movements to match the new language. It takes longer (about 2–7 minutes in two tests with 7–8 second clips) and costs 11 credits per second, up to 120 seconds.
How many credits does it cost?
You pay for the length of the video you upload: 3 credits per second for Voice only and 11 for Voice + lip sync. A 30-second clip is 90 or 330 credits. You see the full price before you start, and you are only charged when the dubbed video is delivered.
Which languages are supported?
You can dub into 32 languages, including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi and Arabic. The original language is detected automatically.
Will the dubbed video be the same length?
Close to it. Some languages take longer to say the same thing, so a lip-synced video can run a little longer than the original. In our two lip-sync tests, 7–8 second English clips came out about 1.3 seconds longer in Spanish.
What videos work best?
Clear speech with little background noise, one speaker at a time, and the speaker's face visible if you want lip sync. Videos must have sound. Several people talking over each other, music-heavy clips and strong accents can give weaker results.
Only dub videos you have the rights to, and only voices you are allowed to translate and recreate: your own, or those of people who have clearly agreed. Don't use this to imitate public figures, impersonate anyone or create fake endorsements. Check translations before you publish, and label the result as AI-dubbed where the platform asks you to.
