Questions about AI video upscaling
How does the AI video upscaler work?
It uses an AI super-resolution model to rebuild each frame at a higher resolution, sharpening edges and fine texture while keeping motion consistent from frame to frame. It can make a clip look cleaner and sharper, but it can't recover detail that was never captured in the original.
How many credits does it cost?
2 credits per second for 1080p, 4 for 2K and 8 for 4K. A 10-second clip upscaled to 4K is 80 credits. You see the estimate before you start and are only charged when the upscaled video is delivered.
What size will my video be?
In our tests the target is the length of the shorter side: a 768 × 1024 clip came out at 1080 × 1440 for 1080p and 2160 × 2880 for 4K. The original shape is kept. 2K follows the provider's own sizing, which we haven't measured yet.
How long can my video be?
Between 3 and 60 seconds, MP4 or MOV, up to 100 MB. A short clip took about 2 minutes in our tests; longer clips and 4K take longer.
Does it keep the sound?
Yes. In our tests the original audio track was kept as it was.
What if my video is already high resolution?
If it already matches the target you pick, we stop before charging you and suggest a higher target. Upscaling works best on low-resolution, compressed or AI-generated clips.
